INTERNATIONAL BEER AND TACOS DAY!!!!!
THE 2ND SATURDAY OF OCTOBER - A FALL CELEBRATION!!!
Jeff Dutton and Luke Holder....a couple of dreamers working their youth away at a coffee shop. The two of them hit upon an idea that would celebrate the Fall season in all of its glory.
Fall is Here!
The bite of a crisp cool North wind, signaling the time was near to put away your swim trunks and go hunt for your sweaters. A day in which to look forward to the upcoming holiday season-
from Halloween through New Years. A time to take a moment with friends and enjoy the great out-of-doors, a close circle of friends, a cool refreshing beer, and a spicy, crunchy Mexican
treat - the taco.
The Legend Continues
A small two man event became a large party on the 8th day of October in the year 1994 AD, a party that was
ironically held at the house of the owner of the very same coffee shop in which the idea for this wonderful day took true form. Since that time it has grown to international status,
when Luke celebrated the occasion in the green lush of Ireland.
Now this great day has grown a cult following that is slowly
spreading across the globe. Parties have become a regular occasion in places as distant as Alaska, New York City, and a very regular party in the city of the day's birth Amarillo, Texas.
